Better safe than sorry

I was going through a roundabout and noticed the car coming towards the roundabout that I was turning right through was not slowing down and looked very likely to continue at speed through the roundabout, so I erred on the side of caution and although close, made sure I was not too close while the car went through and in the process failing to give way.
