Impatient pass through the junction at traffic lights

I set off when I received a green light at a junction, on my way through I heard some loud revving/acceleration behind and then a VW Caddy branded with Vertex livery - 201-D-27154 - came roaring past at speed cutting me off as it skipped in past the traffic island on the far side of the junction.
