It was about 6:30pm with the low sun shining in my eyes. I was approaching the green light of the controlled pedestrian crossing when two runners suddenly appeared out of the sun and shadows, running diagonally across the crossing outside Milford School. They don't appear to have looked and they couldn't hear either due to wearing ear phones. Lucky for them I wasn't driving a car and going faster.
