Fast Close Pass

Riding fairly slowly uphill into wind I heard a car approaching fast from behind. The driver made no attempt to slow down and passed me far too close on such a narrow road. No consideration for my safety was demonstrated by this driver. I wonder if they appreciate the danger they pose to other vulnerable road users?.
